Many of his observations and suggestions center around maintaining the land and feeding the animals while getting the farm to yield a modest living for himself and his family. He does briefly go over the three basic hand forms and chi-sau but only enough so that he can comment on them and remark on how they relate to Wing Chun's big picture. The other books are just that, books, but The Contrary Farmer was like having grampa talking to you personally, giving direction, perspective and guidance in plain talk that instills his love for the cottage farm. If you like a little mystery with your romance, or infidelity is an absolute no-no to you, then you probably shouldn't pick up Death Trick, or any of the other Strachey Mysteries. The problem is Josh doesn't know if he's doing it because he really wants to help the young man, or if Kir is controlling his mind.This is an exciting read that will keep you on edge from cover to cover. These two have no integrity and obtaining a prescription from them on any matter related to your mental health is dangerous..
