The author does a wonderful job of painting a portrait of each character who plays a role in the actual lynching of May 1916, providing backdrop of locale, backstory of life journeys, and a clear insight into each personality. This book presents an interesting, thoughtful disscussion and contrast between the ideals of the Federalists (led by Alexander Hamilton) and the Jeffersonian Republicans (led by Thomas Jefferson) during the formative years of the nation immediately after adoption of the U.S. A few years ago a niece was able to convert an internship to an entry-level job. The illustrated exercises were easy to follow with specific applications for each exercise. I recommend this book to anyone with children or grandchildren, teachers too!. it's a hard life and the book shows just how hard. It stopped at Sacramento, California. Her outstanding achievment is that she accomplished this in 192 pages. I attached a picture of the biggest editing miss. To this end, an ability to read and understand the copious and detailed musical examples is essential to fully grasping his points--this book is not for the casual amateur. Overall, a rather derivative book that seems to have been written largely by consultation of more authoritative work (probably an early edition of Williams & Fleming)..
