One of the best places to convey a growing attraction is when the two characters meet and get a first impression - that is skipped over and then given back in bits and pieces that do nothing to share with the reader why these two 'fall in love.' I want the why - especially for the female lead because she's gone from having an extremely difficult time with intimacy to no problem whatsoever simply because the guy can sleep next to her? I never felt the chemistry between these two beyond the usual sex induced paranormal confluence that always - always - happens in her books.
