This book came along at just the right time, and I'm very grateful for finding out about Harnas, Marietta, and the wonderful story Barbara Bennett shares in this book.I recently spent much time with a teminally ill family member (who passed away) and this book made all the difference in that experiencewhich was excruciating. That was a big hit with my girls. That uncle was evil, and I don't want anything to do with his money. Everything about this volume is magnificent- the scholarly text, the choice of reproductions, the printing and layout. This book is truly a MUST read and an easy read. It is an introduction but not a deliverer. Frankly, I would not have read more than 20 pages of the text if I had to put up with a holier-than-thou prescriptivist account of how games are the Devil's work. People said it couldn't be done and indeed, it was an uphill battle since many thought national parks were only supposed to offer natural vistas. Or "Piano Trio". The book us also rather short but it was a decent read.. I must agree with another reviewer who said she now wants to visit Harnas in person. I enjoyed reading about the economic history of the United States.. There isn't a lot of mayhem in the action; the lenders (apparently good guys) seem to only suffer from impairment (a very mundane injury) every so often, almo
