I am very glad I picked this book up!. This is a mistake, and I thank Albert for this wonderful book.. Granted, there is an extensive set of chapter-based endnotes (and I strongly suggest reading them, they're as engaging as the book itself), but the lack of footnotes is a serious flaw. It had one page with last 4 months of 2016.all on same page with no pretty picture. Close uses the Tunguska event to explore the possibility that a chunk of antimatter could have caused the currently unexplained explosion in 1908 (Close determines it was not antimatter, but leaves the question open until the latter chapters).
