Canon has a white paper that gives some of this information. I lived in San Antonio 20 years and worked as a librarian but never learned any Spanish. The first few chapters of this book describe in excruciating detail of nerves and breathing. Physicist Frank Close offers a short but enlightening look at a frequently misunderstood aspect of physical reality in his book Antimatter. We are also left with no clue about the heroine's biggest question - who is she and who is her family? Also - what's with her inheritance? It's a big deal and then we get a couple lines about how it was sold and she's washed her hands of it? Geez, that's what I was hanging in to find out! In the end, the mysteries that have to be solved are weak plot devices just to keep the two characters moving around together. Many good pictures but print is in German. Stevenson's series may give me hope for that.I whole heartedly recommend this series to anyone. I had depression because my brain stopped releasing some of the chemical I was flooded with while in combat. You need to have SPSS program bundled with the text or have access to it another way (e.g., through a university's computer system).
