I know I am not very good, but I have found it to be rather difficult compared to other songbooks I have seen. I remembered playing Can you Feel the Love Tonight when we were in Billings in December 2005. Louisa herself, while undoubtedly a schemer and social climber of the worst sort (well, the title IS rather a spoiler), is very nearly a heroic figure by comparison. The cost, in Carr's view, is a loss of direct, experiential, formative contact with our work. Well, it's a fine book, pix are first-class, a keeper -- except it's in GERMAN and I don't speak German!. Lovely and loveable characters and no unnecessary sexism. It'll be in my sketching bag for quick reference from now on (I've already marked certain passages & folded down pages to return to)!If you've ever struggled with perspective drawing, this is the handbook for you.
