Now that my children are grown, I cannot wait to read this to my granddaughter! I know it will be one of her favorite books!!! I highly recommend it!!!!. A touching fun story. Why? Because the other guy is doing what Skip says and then more. Great for Father's day!. However, I found it enjoyable to think back to an era when anything seemed possible.The complexity of the story does make it a bit difficult to follow. You have to keep the gravy train moving and do crazy things to create inflation. Have you ever heard of the term "food porn" before (really awesome pictures of food where you just want to stop what you're doing and eat something?) This book has the follow up to food porn known as "foodgasm"the sometimes questionable looking images are based on completely over the top eating reactions where a character may be reduced down to their skivvies. Most Boomers are torn in so many directions they just don't have time to investigate the crucial topics covered by "Boomer or Bust", which is why they are bound to make costly mistakes either with their own planning or that of their parents. Unfortunately, he has little to say about Mandela, Walter Sisulu and Arthur Goldreich as people, and assumes readers already know the trial's implications for South Africa; he doesn't offer any big-picture conclusions beyond the verdict and sentencing (one acquitted, all others spared the death penalty).
