My daughter is bipolar among other things and this book and others have finally helped me to know who I am and I can say I'm not crazy my daughter is sick with a terrible illness. She has presented fire/rescue personnel in a positive yet real light. This story is a little more than 4 pages of first person narrative, told by a battle-hardened soldier in the only words he knows, but you'll spend more time considering it than you did reading it.
