The six books in Science Secrets unlock these and many other basic secrets of life in simple, easy-to-read text and fascinating photographs. While there might be a jokey throw-away here or there and a "Gee Whiz!" line from time to time, the DK authors generally play it upbeat but straight. I kept waiting for the book to turn into either a "bash Clinton" or a "bash Bush" or a "bash America" slugfest, and the author took great strides to avoid politicizing much of what could've easily been co-opted by any ideological agenda. But Josh quickly discovers that Kir is being both physically and sexually abused by his captors, and decides to help Kir escape again. The comments about the concept of Codependence were a real eye opener for me.While "Treating PTSD in Battered Women" is directed toward professional therapists and counselors, its easily readable style and well organized format make it accessible to nonprofessionals like myself. Pienso que abarca todos los puntos que afectan o que estan presentes en la vida del hombre.Reconocerlos y conocerlos, siempre ayuda.. Sean Hall did a good job of choosing images for the book's content. This book is truly a MUST read and an easy read. Never, never waste your fun
